Talebearing24- What A Funny Hunting!

Toye, Taye and Kehinde were children of the same father but of two mothers. Toye was the eldest son among them of age eighteen years. Their father was a driver and a subsistence farmer while both mothers were traders. These children used to go to farm on weekends especially Saturday when their father was out for driving. Their farm was a bit far from their dwellings so they went there by vehicles. The common vehicle on this road was tippers because of the presence of quarry in this area. Every Saturday, they would go to Tipper Park whenever their father did not go with them for free transportation because some of these drivers knew their father with them.
After getting to the farm under no supervision, they would work for three hours on farm and went for hunting. Snails and crabs were their targets on several occasions and they would pick as many as possible especially in the rainy season. Plucking of ripe pawpaw in their farm was not left out. There was no day they would go to farm without coming home with one thing of the other. Even their friends in their neighborhood always waited for them from farm because of what they would enjoy from their return.
One day, after work on farm as usual they tried all they could to pick snails and crabs but no way because that was towards the dry season. They decided to go fishing by using the hook and line they had kept for so long on farm. Taye searched for bait they would use and he was able to get few being in the dry season. They started fishing and small fishes were being caught. The day was going dark little by little. All of

Talebearing24- What A Beautiful Change in Ronald's Life!

Once upon a time, Ronald was very troublesome and playful. Anytime he was sent on an errand, he would go his way, playing football from one street to the other. He would never come home until Ten O'clock or after. Beating little children in his neighborhood was very common thereby reporting his notorious attitudes from different quarters to his parents. His parents were tired of these non-profitable and barbaric characters of him.
One day, his parents went to his school to report him and seek for their advice. On getting there, they were very flabbergasted with what they met on ground because they had been waiting for them to come and hear what their son had done in the school. His teacher brought the record of his misdeeds. He didn't always stay in the class. Whenever, he was in the class, he would cause trouble and confusion. His class teacher studied him very well and devised a mechanism of counseling which later proved futile thereby adopting punishment as the last resort. Ronald could not stay for five hours in the class without serving three-hour punishment.
With all these reports, Ronald’s parents were very unhappy and humbly asked the Principal and his teacher on what to do. Ronald was in Senior Secondary School 1 then and his teacher advised his parents to seat him down and ask him what he wanted to do. After making his choice, took him to their religious leader

Talebearing24- Enjoyment in Brilliance!

Eze's school days were very interesting! Going by the saying "there is love in sharing", Eze gave chances to his intimate friends to peep into his work during tests and examinations. Although he knew that what he was doing was wrong and severally he was removed from their midst into another seat where he would not be disturbed. His friends would not be happy with his removal but there was nothing they could do.
Much attention was placed on Eze in the class and his female classmates started inviting him to their rooms for tutorials. Eze would eat in their rooms and teach them some difficult topics or exercises they found tedious in the class. Eze could count the number of days he cooked food in school. Because of this, he was appointed the class Representative and had some responsibilities at his shoulder. He did excellently well on this post and he was advised to go for Student Union appointment but he turned down the advice because he

Talebearing24- A Friend Fell From A Tall Tree

A childhood friend of mine in my neighborhood called Kingley going to the same school and attending the same church with me could not forget a day he fell from a mango tree not too far from my dwelling. Kingsley and I used to go to school together in the morning and waited for each other after closing hour so that we could come home together being the fact that we were living in the same neighborhood and our parents because of us were also friends.
I could remember vividly we were in Senior Secondary School 1 then when we noticed that there was a tall mango tree not far from my house. Then was the season of mango, apart from the mango trees that we used to visit after school hour to pluck the ripe ones, we also paid visit to the nearby ones. Sometimes, we went to pluck ripe mango on our way home and ate all so that we would not be suspicious and beaten. This did not affect our house chores even my friend used to hawk after school hour while I would wash dirty plates we used in the morning when rushing to school. This was how we were plucking the ripe mangoes around without the consent of our parents.
One day, I did not go to school because I was ill but Kingsley went and on his way home, he branched at the mango tree not too far from my house to pluck the ripe mangoes. On getting there, he saw three ripe mangoes at the top of the trees, he continuously threw sticks to them but he could not get them, then he decided to climb this tree and found his way to the top of the tree where these ripe mangoes were hung not knowing that what was good was not meant for a single person. When he got there, he met a snake and he was seriously scared therefore rushing down from the tree but because he was frightened, one of his hands missed the tree and he fell. When he got down, he even thought he was dead because the tree branches with the leaves beat him mercilessly on his way down but he was able to walk again with his eyes red and his school uniform dirty and torn.
I was outside the house when he was coming from this mango tree and narrated his ordeal. What a pity!

Talebearing24- No Experience Is Lost!

Honeybee is believed to be a dangerous flying insect while the honey extracted from the honeycomb where the honeybee lives is very sweet and performs a lot of medicinal purposes. Honey is consumed raw or diluted and in refined form. Honeycomb is found in the hollow cavity of a tree where they believe that it is hidden from human beings and their activities. I personally had never seen the honeycomb before until the day we found one in the hole of a cut tree by the operator. It started like a play on this day, he was felling trees as usual and it was getting dark before we noticed that the last tree he fell had honeycomb full of honey as well as the bees at the top of the tree.
Immediately this tree fell, the bees started flying around to sting any animal that came their way in order to prevent their home. Initially, we had been told to remove our top to prevent the entry of the bees into our clothes. The operator told us to look for a big and clean bucket, this was around 18:45hours. He gathered some dry logs of wood and set it on fire very close to the place where the honeycomb was hidden in the tree in order to drive away the flying bees so that we could extract the honeycomb.
Because of the heat, the operator could not use the bare hand to draw the honeycomb into the metal bucket but the cutlass instead while we were at a distance watching the process and later I personally moved

Talebearing24- Childhood Ugly Experience In My Neighbourhood

There were lots of enjoyment and sadness in my childhood. Many moments were interesting and good to be remembered while some were so pathetic to be forgotten. Although, I had learnt my lessons but I can't do without recollecting what had happened then. For instance, there was a day during our struggling time as boys in my neighborhood; we went to do a menial job in order to keep body and soul together outside the city and at the same time to help our parents with little expenses. Whereas that was not the first time of going out for such outing but this particular day will never be erased from my memory.
This type of menial job was a lumbering form. Matured trees were found in the outskirt of the State so we traveled many kilometers away from the city. The amount of money each person made per trip depended on the number of sliced planks each person was able to carry from where they were sliced to the place where they would be transported to the market with respect to the distance. As usual, we met the sliced

Talebearing24- Nemesis Caught Up With Him!

A man reaped the fruit of his misdeeds when he was out of service. An immigration officer who killed a man because of money at a spot had his biological son killed at the same spot. An immigration officer with his friend in the service used to go on road checks where they would abandon their rightful responsibilities for the society for their own personal gains. The businessmen and women that plied this road had known them very well for their corrupt perpetration. On one fateful day, this man and his friend were on duty as usual, around mid-day, a car coming from border had a ghastly accident. The driver of the car died immediately leaving the only man in the car with him in a state of coma, but instead of rushing this man to the nearest hospital for urgent medical attention, they decided to kill him because of his briefcase that was full of foreign currency. They saw it as a "golden opportunity" for them to be rich. They dispossessed the man of his money

Talebearing24 - Royalty's Testing

Once upon a time, there was an average man, Ben a farmer, who believed in the importance attached to giving. Whenever he was giving out from the little he had, he would do it wholeheartedly. Even, people around him used to make jest of him because of his state of insufficiency. While Ben did not look at their side but continued with what he was doing to put smiles on the faces of the less privileged.
Many a times, his wife fought with him on his candid philanthropy that was adversely affecting his home but he used to tell her to be patient and he knew what he was doing with the hope that God in heaven would cater and provide for their immediate and futuristic needs. That's how Ben was living his life.
One day, the king instructed the town crier to go around and tell everyone in the village to assemble at his palace in the sunset time this day for an important message. The town crier did as he was ordered and emphasized that the domesticated rats should hear and tell the bush rats! Everybody must assemble in the palace as ordered! Then the town crier went his way to the palace after delivering the message.
In the evening, as ordered by the king, everybody had assembled in the palace waiting patiently for the king because no one could dare the order of the king. Few minutes later, the king with his queens came out from the palace to relay the message he had for them so that they could quickly disperse to their various abodes. He said; I was expecting august visitors from our neighboring villages and i needed someone that could voluntarily donate all his or her farm produce in the farm for him: villagers were looking at their faces because they did not expect this kind of selfish request from their king. The weather of the palace was quietly calm, suddenly! Ben rose up from where he was seating and volunteered to donate all his farm produce to the king.
The other villagers including his wife were seriously staring at him as a foolish man not knowing the king was testing their loyalty and candid generosity. Then the king asked him for the last time if he had finally made up his mind and he said; yes. The King quickly stood up and said he would divide all his belongings into two equal halves and give one part to Ben for his generosity and giving spirit.  Immediately, the king rushed into the palace's hut. All the villagers present in the palace were seriously astonished for what they heard from their king. And they all went to their various abodes. Even Ben could not believe what the king said but later re-thought that the king would never assemble the entire villagers for such an expensive joke.
Two days later, the king's servants from the palace brought many baskets of king's belongings to Ben's hut as promised. That was how Ben and his family reaped the fruit of his giving and became prosperous and famous in this village.

Talebearing24- Testimony's Time

During church service this 16 year old pastor's daughter stood up and said "Praise the Lord". Everybody shouted "Halleluyah". She continued since my tender age of 13, I've been experiencing monthly period with so much pain but now after a series of Bible studies and prayers with Brother Prince our Sunday school teacher in his house; my monthly periods have ceased for more than 3 months now, no more painful menstruation. You can see I am even getting fatter and prettier. "Praise the Lord". The whole church fainted.

A girl went to see a pastor for counseling and she was asked what happened she simply replied 'my boyfriend did a bad thing to me, the pastor asked, did he slap you? She said No, did he beat you? She said No, the pastor hugged her; did he do this to you? She said No, the pastor kissed her; did he do this to you? She said no, the pastor laid her down and had great classic sex with her; did he do this to you? She said No....what did he do then? She said he gave me AIDS. The pastor fainted.

Talebearing24 - What a great loss!

Why do people hunt the lives of another people? There are many answers to this very ambiguous question! Some people said they are doing this because of money, some said they do it purposely for power while some said they do it out of hatred and annoyance. All these cogent reasons are very acceptable but the reasons aforementioned are not the bases of the ugly incident I am going to narrate as follow:
Tee boy was a very brilliant boy right from primary school to the tertiary institution which made people to like him. Competition among his colleagues to overtake him in the class but no way. Talent was different from capability. He was a different human being when it came to intelligence and understanding agility therefore his counterparts surrendered to fate and sought for educational assistance from him before and after examination. Even during examination on few occasions, he took them tutorial classes in order not to see him as a self-centered fellow.
Tee boy had won many prizes in the school and became a cynosure of eyes in the school premises pointing at him from far and near for those who were not present on the day of prize given. His name was written in the nooks and crannies of the school as the hero of their time. Every lady wanted to be her friend. Fighting over him in the school and outside the school premises was very common without his knowledge initially but got to his ears later. To the extent that sometimes it became an embarrassment to him and he was trying to be careful and smart and pretended as if he was not the one they were talking about.
In the final year, Tee boy graduated with a first   class upper in Computer Engineering which gave him a golden opportunity to serve in an Automobile Company and was retained after the service year to continue his job. After confirmation, he was given a car of his choice and wardrobe allowance as well as housing allowance. Tee boy was sent to South Africa for one month training on new software introduced into the company for mechanical use.
Less than a year, Tee boy was able to build a house of his own while planning to get married with Derby, one of his course mates in school. They have been together for three good years before this wedding plan. She was very happy to see that Tee boy was finally hers. The wedding preparations began having picked the wedding date and the concerned people were quickly notified.
In a twinkle of an eye, the wedding day came and the people were celebrating to the fullness because it was

Talebearing24- Blessings in Giving - The Concluding Part

Co-workers of Sam at work that sent the hired killers tried all their best over the night to connect with them  for the outcome of the operation but it was futile. The news of the unsuccessful operation  of the hired killers became the talk of the town which got to the ears of the senders. They didn't understand how Sam did it! Therefore, they percieved evil things. Their phone calls finally went through to the killers around 11:35am and they were asked to come for an impromptu meeting which they said it could not be possible because they had completely lost their trust in them and asked the gang to convey their information through phone.
All the efforts of the gang to have a meeting with them proved futile therefore they sent a threatening message to the co-workers of Sam that nothing must happen to Sam that if any evil thing happened to Sam and his family, they would pay the price with their lives. When they recieved this ugly message, they felt scared, helpless and defeated. They were promised that they would not reveal the secret between them if they abided by the condition giving to them.
This particular gang also called Sam and warned him to be very careful at work. On Monday morning, when Sam resumed to work, his other co-workers were very happy to see him back alive and sympathised with him for the attack and thanked God for his life that was spared praying that such would not happen again. While the senders of the hired killers were not comfortable when they saw Sam and decided to change from their evil ways.

Talebearing24 - Blessings in generosity and Kindness!

Once upon a time, there was a man called Samson living in a city. Samson was a rich man blessed with two kids- one boy and one girl. His wife, Rebecca, was a famous and prosperous trader. Then Samson was working with a well-known international company in Lagos in a post of Manager and fortunately for him, because of his diligence and dedication to work, he was promoted twice in less than two years. This unbelievable promotion of Sam, as he was called, which had never happened in the history of the Company since its existence made some people that were eyeing this type of promotion in the said company infuriated. Therefore, they connived to seriously deal with him instead of learning their lessons and amending their ways in order to be recognized and promoted later years.
In his neighbourhood, Sam was a social and generous man taking care of the less privileged people and orphans as well as the widows. This kindness and generosity of him made him famous not only in his vicinity but also in the entire State. A lot of people, one time or the other, had heard of him for his generosity but could not recognize him facially. Sam had not for once stopped his generosity and kindness to people. The more he gave out in kindness and cash; the greater he received from heaven through people. His subordinates at work were not left out in these benefits but there was nothing you could do to people that did not like you. He was only being kind and social to everybody not knowing that there were enemies of progress at his workplace.
Few months later, there was a call for someone to be nominated for a managerial training abroad. Unanimously, Sam was nominated for a 3-month training in the United Kingdom being the fact that the Company was international having one of its branches in the United Kingdom where the training was taking place.  This good news did not go well with the enemies of Sam at workplace which made them become more angry with him than before and planned to kill him in no time even before he travelled abroad in order to have their ways in the company because they saw him as an obstacle to their success. All their efforts to get him killed before he travelled abroad proved abortive because all the hired killers in the State knew him as their benefactor so they turned down the job.
They finally decided to execute him immediately he returned from United Kingdom after training. Had it been they had the alternative for carrying out their "barbaric act" in the United Kingdom, they would have gone for it because three months were too long for them to wait. They travelled to another State to seek for help on their wicked mission where they eventually found a

Talebearing24- All that glitters is not gold!

Once upon a time, there lived a guy called Fred as he was called by his friends, although his full name was Fredrick Kantoga. Fred was someone that liked to live an extravagant life right from his Secondary school days among his friends. He was known for his habitual attitudes. Going by the saying that says" twenty children can never play for twenty years while thirty adults can never play for thirty months", after secondary school, they all departed. Some got admission into the University, some into Polytechnic while some did not further their education because of their  financial incapability. But being the fact that Fred was from a rich and wealthy home, he had all his needs at his feet at any time they were needed so, he didn't know how to be preserved.
Fred was in year two in the University when he lost his two parents in a very fatal plane crash that claimed one hundred and fifty-six lives. He was seriously disturbed academically and financially and managed to write the Second semester examination. After the burial rites of his late parents, the families of his both parents, being the only child, had meetings with him and promised to stand by him and care for his immediate and futuristic needs to further his education, he was very happy to hear all these promises. As promised, the families contributed a very huge amount of money and saved the money in his bank account with the money he had in his account before the demise of his parents.
In a blink of an eye, Fred lavisly spent all this money with the hope that that was how the money would be forthcoming. He had never for once thought of how to manage whatever he had at hand. When he completely ran out of money, he started moving from one Uncle to the other and from one Aunt to the other,

Talebearing24- What a Hilarious and True Life Story!

Once upon a time, there was a girl and her brother attending the same army school. As we all know that soldiers are great disciplinarians. It had been their usual act to brutalize any student that came late to school every morning before school morning devotion. Sometimes, they would ask the offenders to do frog jump, crawling, running on stones barefooted, rolling on the floor, washing the school toilet, beating the offenders on the tongues and fore- fingers and the likes.
These barbaric, inhumane and painful attitudes of the soldiers made the students to fear them seriously beyond imagination and expectation. Therefore, they came to school in time to avoid any brutality but there was no way students would not be caught coming late to school every morning and they went through these uncivilized punishments from their hands. The older the students, the harder the punishments given to the students. These behaviours were habitual and the students accepted their fate.
On one fateful morning, a boy called Richard with his younger sister, Bukky came late to

Talebearing24- Make Hay While The Sun Shines

Amos and David were intimate friends while they were classmates in secondary school. Their friendship started on their very first day at school. Amos's parents had brought David in their car. From there, they started their friendship and this blosomed soon after. They were very inimate when they were in the Junior secondary school. They did things together in the hostel and shared the same desk and chair in the school. Things, however, started changing after their Junior Secondary School Certificate Examination. They were both promoted to the Senior Secondary School one. After their promotion, David began to exhibit a change in his character and behaviour. His disposition to his studies changed and he started keeping bad companies. He played truant and ran away from classes. David's bad conduct made Amos distance himself from him. He decided to be up and doing in his studies while David misbehaved most of the time and got into trouble with the school authority which made him known by them as a bad guy.
Amos continued to be well-behaved, industrious and enterprising. He was hardworking, studious and he believed in making hay while the sun shines. At the end of the year, he was promoted to SS 2 while David was promoted on trial because of his poor performance.
When they were promoted. Amos called David and admonished him on his bad behaviour and advised him to make hay while the sun shines and stop wasting his time. Amos's admonition did not have any effect on David as he proved stubborn and recalcitrant. He became more unruly than ever before.
One day, David and his gang broke into the school poultry to steal eggs and fowls and they were caught. The second day, they were called out on the assembly ground and their offence was announced to the whole school. They were flogged openly and suspended for two terms.
When David was suspended, he refused to let his parents knew about his misdemeanour. He went to hide in one of his friend's house and while on suspension, he always sneaked into the school to cause one
