There
were lots of enjoyment and sadness in my childhood. Many moments were
interesting and good to be remembered while some were so pathetic to be
forgotten. Although, I had learnt my lessons but I can't do without
recollecting what had happened then. For instance, there was a day during our
struggling time as boys in my neighborhood; we went to do a menial job in order
to keep body and soul together outside the city and at the same time to help
our parents with little expenses. Whereas that was not the first time of going
out for such outing but this particular day will never be erased from my
memory.
This type
of menial job was a lumbering form. Matured trees were found in the outskirt of
the State so we traveled many kilometers away from the city. The amount of
money each person made per trip depended on the number of sliced planks each
person was able to carry from where they were
sliced to the place where they would be transported to the market with respect
