A homeless American man has sued a couple who raised more $400,000 to help him.The homeless good Samaritan who gained national fame after the stranded motorist he gave his last $20 to raised more than $400,000 in his name is now suing her and her boyfriend, claiming the couple is committing fraud by taking more than half of the money for themselves.On Tuesday, attorneys for Johnny Bobbitt Jr. filed the lawsuit in the Superior Court of New Jersey in Burlington County against Kate McClure, 28 and Mark D’Amico, 39.
Last year, Bobbitt, a 35-year-old Marine Corps veteran who was living on the streets of Philadelphia, gave McClure the last of the cash he had panhandled that day after she ran out of gas on Interstate 95, McClure wrote on a GoFundMe fundraiser she created on Nov. 10.Bobbitt even instructed McClure to get back in her car and lock the doors before returning minutes later with a red gas can, McClure wrote. At first, McClure showed her gratitude to Bobbitt by providing him with food, clothes and some cash.

A white Texas police officer who entered an apartment mistaking it for her own and shot dead the black man who lived there was arrested on manslaughter charges. Officer Amber Guyger with the Dallas Police Department was arrested Sunday and booked into the county jail, the Texas Department of Public Safety said. At the end of her shift and still in uniform, Guyger entered the apartment in a complex near downtown Dallas late Thursday and shot the black man who she thought was an intruder, police said.Minutes after shooting she called emergency services and told responding officers that she thought she had entered her own apartment. The victim, an African-American, was identified as Botham Shem Jean, 26, an immigrant from the Caribbean island nation of Saint Lucia. Jean had graduated from a private Christian college in the state of Arkansas in 2016 and had since been working at the accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers in Dallas.According to the Dallas Morning News, Guyger got off on the wrong floor of the building complex and approached an apartment exactly one floor above her own. The door was unlocked and the lights were off and when Guyger saw a figure moving in the dark she pulled out her pistol and opened fire thinking it was an intruder, the newspaper reported. Dallas police said that Guyger, 30, has been with the department for four years. Local reports said she was involved in an earlier shooting in May 2017.The Dallas-Fort Worth NBC affiliate reported that Guyger was released late Sunday on a $300,000 bail. Dallas Police Chief U. Renee Hall took the unusual step of handing the case over to the Texas Rangers — a division of the Department of Public Safety — to “eliminate the appearance of any potential bias”, police said in a statement.“On behalf of the Dallas Police Department, we are continuing to pray for Mr. Jean’s family, and ask that the community remain patient as this investigation is conducted,” Hall said. A mother-of-five repeatedly had sex with a 14-year-old boy as her husband and children slept in the same room, police say. Justice Maryie McKay, 22, allegedly kissed the teen, removed his clothes and enticed him to have sex. She was at the boy's home with her family in July to celebrate her birthday and that was when she lured the boy into a bedroom. According to police in Lake Butler, Florida, the woman then had sex with the boy in front of her sleeping husband and young kids, all of whom are younger than five.The next day, the young lady reportedly sent a message to the boy, saying she couldn’t forget him or what they had done. She told him she "wanted to be with him". Then, weeks later, police claim McKay picked up the boy from a bus stop, planning to take him to school. Instead, she took him to her home and had sex with him again. Days later, it is believed McKay picked the boy up from a petrol station and had sex with him again.During both of these encounters, all of the mum's kids and their teenage cousins were reportedly at home. McKay was said to have left "hickies" and scratch marks on the young boy's body. The local paper said on August 22, the boy’s mother confronted McKay, showing her the photographs of the boy’s marks. When McKay learned that law enforcement had been contacted, she went missing with her five children.McKay was arrested on Wednesday and is charged with sexual battery. She has reportedly filed a written plea of not guilty.
What does it mean when a lady you expressed your feelings to tells you that she is not ready emotionally. I asked emotional in what aspect? She was like she is this kind of free person and been in a relationship will restrict her freedom. To be sincere, since I have been close to this lady, I noticed that she is truly free (as in male friends and so on) but I'm not sure if she is dating anyone... I have read and experience so many things online and others too about ladies brouhaha Cox of freedom and so on but I don't want to experience this... A motorcycle rider , Ubong Ime, took incest to a new height when he professed love to his daughter whom he allegedly raped and impregnated . PUNCH Metro gathered that the incident happened in the Iju area of Lagos State. Our correspondent learnt that the 15- year - old victim lived with her mother in Uyo until in 2015 when the father , who had remarried , brought her to Lagos . Ime, who was arrested by policemen from the Iju Police Station , said he was in love with the victim , adding that he slept with her twice .
He said , “ Sometime in June 2018 , my wife informed me that my daughter was pregnant after which we both called her to ask who was responsible for the pregnancy. She did not say anything , but I knew that I was the one who impregnated her and it happened in June. I fell in love with her and had sex with her two times. ”
The victim , however, said her father first raped her on a day her stepmother stopped her from going to school after accusing her of stealing. She said her father , who pretended to be punishing her , had sex with her . She said , “ My stepmother always accused me of stealing her money and most times she beat me up . Sometime in June , my stepmother accused me of stealing her N 200 and because of that, she said I should not go to school.
“ While I was doing the house chores , my daddy brought out a wire and started beating me . As he was beating me , he ordered me to sit on the bed and remove my pants . I initially refused , but as he continued beating me , I obeyed him and he raped me . As I was shouting, one of my neighbours came to knock on our door , but he told him that he was punishing me .
“ After the sex, he told me that I should not tell anybody . He was the one that washed the clothes I was supposed to wash that day while I slept. After some time , I woke up and took my bath. I did not tell my stepmother anything. “Then in July 2018 , before we started our examination , my stepmother said I should not go to school . My dad went out in the morning and came back in the afternoon.
As of then, I was sleeping on the bed . I suddenly noticed that someone laid on me . Before I knew it , he had sex with me again , making it twice . He still warned me not to tell anybody what happened between us . ” The victim said when she missed her period in July , her stepmother asked her if she had sex with anyone , but she denied it. She said she confessed to her stepmother when it was confirmed that she was two months pregnant.
“When my stepmother reported to my daddy that I looked pregnant , he said I should lie to her that I was raped by someone in a hotel. My stepmother continued disturbing me and made me do a pregnancy test . She told me that I was two months ’ pregnant. “ When everybody on the street became aware that I was pregnant, I decided to tell my stepmother the truth . My daddy was the first man that had sex with me . No other person had done it with me before or after him , ” she said .
The victim ’ s half - brother, David, said he had caught his father many times having sex with his sister. The 12- year - old said , “ There was a day that I came back from school and I met daddy on top of her . Daddy used to have sex with her even in the night if our mummy is not at home . I used to see them together on our bed if our mummy is not at home . ” Ime was arraigned before an Ogba Magistrates ’ Court on one count of defilement.
The police prosecutor , Inspector John Christopher , said the offence contravened Section 137 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, Nigeria , 2015 . The charge read in part, “ That you , Ubong Ime, in June 2018 , at about 12 pm on Olushina Street, Isale Haruna , Obawole , Lagos State , in the Ikeja Magisterial District , did defile your daughter (name withheld ) aged 15… . ”
The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge . The presiding magistrate , P. E. Nwaka , remanded the suspect in custody . The case was adjourned till October 3 , 2018.
Two occupants of a Toyota Highlander SUV, Fidelis Omoruyi and his daughter, Omon, cheated death on Wednesday, as a tyre-laden truck crushed their vehicle in Benin, Edo State.The accident which occurred along the Akpakpava Road, by First East Circular Junction, was attributed to a bump at the middle of the Road.Many at the scene of the accident described the survival of the occupants of the SUV as miraculous. Omoruyi said they stopped at a transport firm by the junction to deliver a parcel when they suddenly heard a loud noise as the truck crashed into their vehicle.An eyewitness, Osasu, condemned the poor attitude of the agency responsible for the maintenance of roads in Benin, saying that the bump which allegedly caused the accident has caused many others
I once heard of a very pious lady by the name of Fidh-dhah who lived in a certain village. This woman, Fidh-dhah, was rapidly gaining fame as word of an amazing phenomenon among people. Although we do not visit women, due to the necessity to investigate and ascertain the reality and authenticity of this rumour, I took a group of people and travelled to her village. On arriving in the village and making enquiries, the people of the village informed us that Fidh-dhah possessed a female goat that yielded both milk and honey. Hearing this, we bought a brand new bowl and proceeded to her home. On arriving, we greeted her with salaam and said, “We wish to witness the barakah (blessing) of your goat.” Fidh-dhah obliged and gave the goat to us. After receiving the goat, we began milking it and as it was reputed, both milk and honey flowed from the teats of the goat! After enjoying the milk and honey, we asked Fidh-dhah to tell us the secret to the special barakah (blessing) she and her family enjoyed from the goat. In response, she mentioned the following story: There was a time when we were very poor and possessed nothing except a small she goat. When ‘Eidul Adha arrived, my husband, who was a pious man, said to me, “We own nothing except this she goat. Let us sacrifice it for ‘Eid in the name of Allah Ta‘ala.” I replied, “Don’t slaughter it as we need it. Allah Ta‘ala has not made it necessary for us to sacrifice an animal for ‘Eid in circumstances of such poverty.” Coincidentally, a guest arrived on that very Day of ‘Eid and we had no food with which to entertain him. I thus said to my husband, “Allah Ta‘ala has instructed us to honour our guests by entertaining them and seeing to their comfort. Let us slaughter this she goat for our guest.” As my husband prepared to slaughter the goat, I said to him, “You should slaughter it outside the house, behind the wall, so that the sight of its slaughter does not distress our children and cause them to cry.” My husband thus took the goat and made his way out of the yard to slaughter it. However, while he was meant to be slaughtering it, I saw the goat jump onto the wall and re-enter the yard. Thinking that the goat had escaped, I went outside and saw that my husband had already slaughtered our goat and was now in the process of skinning it! I exclaimed to him, “How strange! Another she goat, resembling our own, has entered our yard!” Hearing this, my husband said, “Perhaps Allah Ta‘ala has granted us a goat which is better.” Whereas our first goat yielded only milk, this second goat yields both milk and honey! This special barakah which we enjoy was granted to us on account of us honouring our guest. Fidh-dhah then advised saying, “This goat grazes in the pasture of the heart. If you sow goodness and righteousness in your hearts, it will graze on good and its milk will accordingly be wholesome and good. Conversely, spoiling your hearts and filling them with filth and muck causes the milk of the goat to spoil and turn bad. Therefore, ensure that you guard your hearts from evil, then everything will be of benefit to you.”
